Festival of Research October 5th
A one-day ‘Festival of Research’ in Chichester. Projects from different disciplines by students contribute to the debates around the future of the town. When building the much-needed housing in coastal cities, such as Chichester, one has to look carefully at the relationship with nature: farming, the South Downs National Park and the AONB along the coast, and the related issues of biodiversity, water quality and seawater level rises through climate change. The day was meant to generate ‘blue sky thinking’, to develop sustainable and positive ideas for future development involving all generations. Organised in collaboration with Carolyn Cobbold. Jay Morton, Danielle Huls, Eduardo Rico, JoseRamirez , John Pegg Photographs by @Carolyn Cobbold, Harriet Patterson.
